Back in January 2025 Deano had a severe concussion and two brain bleeds. He has also damaged his neck, needing C3-C5 to be operated on. He has some spinal cord damage, because he gets radiated pain from his neck down his left arm. This has impacted his ability to drive long distances.

Deano is now no longer working, as driving was a big part of his job.

Deano has been a faithful servant to the Kerang Football Netball Club (KFNC) for many years as the head trainer, keeping both footy and netball players out on the field or court.

Deano is also a life member of the KFNC.

He also has supported the club with other events, including many good times in his shed out the back of his home. He has assisted many past and current players not only physically, but also with their mental welfare.

Let's repay Deano for his hard work and years of service by supporting him to get the medical help he needs.

Deano is scheduled to have an operation after his next appointment in June.
