Deanna and Christopher Halbert, along with their three daughters, are facing an unimaginable loss. On Tuesday morning, the 27th, their home was destroyed by a house fire. In a matter of moments, they lost everything—clothes, shoes, personal items, and all of their daughters' belongings. The family is now left with nothing, and the road ahead is filled with uncertainty and challenges.
Deanna is my cousin, and she is one of the most loving and selfless people I know. She would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, and she has always been there for others. She would never ask for help herself, but now she and her family need our support more than ever. The funds raised will help them purchase the essentials they need to get back on their feet, provide comfort and stability for their daughters, and, with hope, help them secure a new home.
This fundraiser was put together by me and her brother because we know how hard it is for Deanna to ask for help. As I told her, sometimes you have to go through the worst before things can get better—and they will get better. Please consider donating or sharing this message. It could be any of us facing such a loss, and every bit of support makes a difference. Thank you, and may the Lord double your blessing for your kindness.
