Hi, my name is Mickayla. My sisters, Tana and Jessica, as well as myself, are creating this fundraiser to help my dad, Dean Lyons. The fundraiser is created to assist with medical costs and travel expenses as he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic small cell lung cancer that has spread to his pancreas, liver, brain, and cheek. Dean will be going through extensive treatment, including chemotherapy and radiation, at the University of Wisconsin - Madison Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Dean went into the ER due to being weak. What they originally thought was pneumonia and a GI bleed turned out to be a lot more. He will have to travel as well as have overnight stays in Madison as some treatments will be several days in a row. Jessica will be driving him where he needs to go and getting him to his appointments, but that also means she is not able to work like she was. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
