Help Dean Busse & family in the fight for his life

Donation protected
Unknown to many, Dean was unexpectedly admitted to the ICU on Monday, January 25th, after a doctor’s appointment. Dean had gone into the doctor for severe jaundice and low blood pressure. The doctor ordered immediate blood tests, a CT Scan and an ultrasound. He was then immediately admitted to the ICU and diagnosed with liver failure. Unfortunately, right now, there are more questions than answers. All they do know; is he will almost definitely need a liver transplant.
As of now, there is no time frame on how long he will have to be in the ICU. His wife, Sue, has been taking as much time off work as possible to be by his side. To add to the stress and uncertainty for the family, the day after Dean was admitted to the ICU, their daughter, Sarah, had an MRI for a recent knee injury. They found out she has a high-grade ACL tear and a sprained MCL. This injury will require surgery, physical therapy and up to 6 months recovery.
The Busses are the most incredible people with the biggest hearts, who are always the first to step in and help whenever anyone needs anything. They constantly open their home to help countless foster animals and help multiple rescues in any way they can. They give so much of their time and abilities to anyone or any place in need.
In the matter of a week, Dean is now in the fight of his life and receiving medical care that will cost more than they can take on themselves. Dean is in the heartbreaking financial position of trying to fight for his life, keep his family solvent and deal with the expenses that are continuing to pile up.
Now is the time that the people who always help everyone else, need help themselves.
Please consider supporting the Busse family by contributing financially, by sharing this with others and by continuing to send prayers and positive thoughts. The family has a very long journey and hard battle ahead of them. Every little bit counts.
