Friends --

You may remember that in October, Dean suffered a concussion. Since then he has been experiencing vertigo and general fatigue, at times so severe that he is bed-ridden. In December he collapsed while coming home from shopping and sought medical care. After some tests the doctors thought there might be more wrong with him, but they haven't yet come up with a conclusive diagnosis.

He is undergoing treatment, but due to the vertigo he has been unable to work. This is also why he has been less of a presence on Political Wire. He needs help to keep up with his living expenses until he can work again.
