Deagan Mungia is a selfless, hardworking, and compassionate 19-year-old who has dedicated his life to helping others. Deeply rooted in his faith, he plays music at his local church with passion and devotion. He is the kind of person who always shows up for others—the first to lend a hand, offer comfort, or ensure a friend is safe.

Deagan is also a valued member of the Kilgore Plumbing team and an asset to our ever-growing family. His strong work ethic and dedication shine through in everything he does, both on and off the job.

Despite enduring immense challenges, Deagan has shown strength beyond his years. With both of his parents struggling with alcoholism throughout his childhood, he stepped up to help raise his younger siblings—his 16-year-old brother and 12-year-old sister. From a young age, Deagan took on responsibilities that most would find overwhelming. He worked hard, mowing lawns and helping neighbors with chores, just to support his family and help his mother provide for their needs.

Today, his family faces another difficult battle. His mother, Jennifer Sonsona, is experiencing serious health complications due to her battle with alcoholism. She has fought hard on her road to recovery, but now she urgently needs critical medical procedures to continue healing. Without financial support, she cannot access the care that could save her life and allow her to continue being there for her children.

Jennifer is a fighter, and Deagan has always been her greatest source of strength. Now, it is our turn to be there for them. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference—helping Jennifer get the medical care she needs and easing the burden on Deagan, who has already given so much of himself to care for his family.
