Hi my name is Hermes and I have had a rough first 4 years of this bunny life of mine. I have been rehomed a lot but finally ended up being fostered by my new mom, Bree! She has taken in over 60 fosters (dogs, cats, rabbits) in her lifetime already so I knew I was in good hands! I came with a lot of surprise health problems. She figured out I was Deaf right away and off we went to the vet! I had to have emergency surgery ASAP to remove giant rock heavy masses in both of my front sides that were weighing me down and stretching my skin (the vet hasn't seen anything like this in years & he sees hundreds of bunnies a year). They were affecting my health along with overgrown nails, teeth and ears that had never been treated. I also have a mysterious seroma around my back end where the vet thinks a dog grabbed me from behind and my internal layer of skin detached from my tissue leaving a gap and now fluid continues to fill up... we have drained over 500ml over 3 visits and it isn't cheap. We are trying a drain next time and a hospital stay if the fluid comes back so hopefully my skin will heal and reattach to the tissue. I have a bad eye that will have to get eye drops for the rest of my life & they just found a new tumor under my neck but we will have to wait on that to have surgery since its been over $4000 in medical bills already!!The hard part was I didn't come to Bree as apart of a rescue organization so all the bills were on her now and asking for help so she can pay off my medical bills. I haven't found a bunny job yet ;) Please help if you can! She has given me the best home a bunny could ask for! Just check out my videos/pics below to see how I am recovering!

With all the health issues Hermes has had to endure he is the sweetest, most loving bunny I have ever known. He will turn into a bunny puddle and stay there as long as you pet/love on him. He loves everyone he meets so come say hi! He is an old soul & finally ready to stop being shuffled around from home to home. He is now a permanent member of our pack here due to him being deaf and his other health issues. He was not under any rescue so I have had to take on the financial responsibility of making sure he was pain free and back on track to live a healthy bunny life finally. His vet bills & surgery have cost over $4000 and we still have a little ways to go with his ongoing seroma. I have always paid out of my pocket for any animal I was helping but the last few months I have also acquired a mountain of medical bills for myself and this was very unexpected. I would never let an animal suffer so I would love it if you would help donate to Hermes new lease on life! I am happy to do an energy exchange for donations below so I can raise the funds to pay off his vet bills! Anything helps! It would be the best birthday gift this year if you can give towards Hermes so he can live out his years healthy and pain free!
