Dear Friends,

My name is Deacon Cody Miller.

Thank you for the opportunity to present to you our new Christmas song, "It's Christmas Time."

This song has been in the making for the last two years.

You would not believe what has happened through the course of trying to release this song.

I was not the first person who was chosen to sing this song.

The first one was a young man from Texas, who never could quite make it to the studio.

The second person that was going to record this song was a singer from a foreign country, but she could not get rid of her accent to sing this song with correct English pronunciation.

The next one was my dear friend, Tammy Lynn Maturin, a famous singer from South Louisiana, who said the song did not fit the way she sang.

So my producer was listening to my last album in his studio, “Jesus Living in Mary,” and he said, "Maybe Deacon can sing this song."

That was about nine months ago.

You would not believe the trouble we've had trying to record this song.

Equipment failures, lightning strikes, delays, equipment malfunctions—you name it, we had it.

We kept plugging along! We were able to finish this song, as well as the video.

I have asked the Knights of Columbus and my many friends to help us to release this song with a video that shows all of the gifts that God wants to bring to the world by this music, in the true spirit of Christmas.

As you well know, the world is becoming more and more secular, and the spirit of Christmas is being lost.

I feel that this song and video could bring Christ back into Christmas because “Jesus is the reason for the season.”

I pray that our brother Knights of Columbus and my many friends could be a part of bringing the real meaning of this most blessed season by helping me to raise funds for this video. $11,000.00 is needed for this video.

God willing, I hope that we can all share this vision of the Knights of the State of Louisiana and my many friends, to help bring this video of a Christ help change to the world.

I feel strongly in my heart, this Christmas video could really make a difference in the world to focus on what is good and true and holy.

That is why I wanted to share this true vision of Christmas time with as many people as I can, especially with the Knights of Columbus and my friends. This song and video will always live every Christmas as a testament to the true spirit of Christmas.
