Blijf Almaz Ashene helpen !

Hello my name is Melkamu Alemayehu , director of Almaz Ashene. Former children's home and now mainly a children's center and a education for tailoring and embroidery skills.

 

The day care service for the kids from the mothers of poorest family by which they can able to win a day bread and nutrition with freedom.

Tailoring and embroidery skill training center for people return from Middle East country can have that skill. As a prevention project from prostitution, unwanted pregnancy , HIV/AIDS , addiction and crime.

 

It is known that Almaz does not yet have a potential donor to allocate budget. To prove ourselves there is a new streetchildren project , also in Addis Abeba, it is with the intention to win the future advantage that Almaz can have a chance to be experienced at high level in order to approach other international funding agencies including UNICEF, and that would be if we can proof ourself during the final evaluation of the one year street children project we sign for.

By now I have a problem.  And I hope you can help... Our Toyota minibus. This car had the advantage of making the projects efficient by serving the staff who are busy during the outreach, collecting children to the hospital in the center when they become ill. Do the shopping and fetch water to the center. Selecting children for skills training in different places in Addis and returning them to the rehabilitation center. (The new project) We also need the bus when a child graduates for sustainable living, transporting the children and staff in a time of family reunification and reintegration that may need to travel up to 500 km, etc. .


This car is  to mean a lot to Almaz, but with the current engine failure that requires  € 1600 for the maintenance costs as the spare costs increase.


I hope you can think about it and help me with this situation with the minibus.
