My name is Jessica, and I am the Head Cheer Coach at De La Salle Institute in Chicago. This will be my second year coaching here. Each year, I look for ways to help my cheerleaders grow in many ways. This year, I am beyond excited to share that our cheer team has been invited to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade—one of the most prestigious and nationally recognized events in the country! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent our community, showcase our spirit, and perform on one of the biggest stages in the world.
However, getting our team to New York City requires significant funding. We are raising money to help cover essential expenses, including:
- Travel & Accommodations – Flights and meals for our team.
- Uniforms & Performance Gear – Ensuring we look and feel our best on parade day.
- Parade & Event Fees – Costs associated with participating in this incredible event.
