Help David get a stairlift

my partner David has spent a lifetime helping people in one way or another
over the past 15 months he has had two TIAs and two strokes the last stroke being 12 weeks ago that left a very active proud and independent man with brain injury on the left side of his brain and paralysed on his right side he has had to learn to walk and talk again he is just back home after 3 months in hospital
We are  not fortunate enough to have a downstairs bathroom so he needs to tackle the stairs
something we take for granted walking up stairs leaves him so exhausted
