Help Dayrin and Donna rebuild after dangerous Kentucky Flood

Hello my name is Dayrin Martinez, I am from California but I moved down to Tennessee for my wife because she is in the US Army. I am currently alone due to her job so the circumstances are not ideal. But on March 3rd through the night the weather caused my whole house to flood everything I owned like furniture/electronics/ both of my cats necessities/ my work clothes/ my wife’s military gear and uniforms were all destroyed in the process. I tried to save what I could but the water was rising to the point where I needed to evacuate immediately. I am also a nurse assistant I work at a veterans home but I have not been able to commute due to the water that is in both of my vehicles. A day prior to the whole home flooding I alerted the management and put in a request to clear or check the drain assuming that was the issue but management said they were unable to do anything about it, they also won’t do anything until the water recedes and they’re able to fully assess the damage, as well as not helping with finding temporary housing or some solutions, everything I am paying for is coming out of my pocket so it is putting me in a tough financial situation. I am 21 years old and I have only been in Tennessee for a year I left the only home I’ve known in California to build my own and it’s just so upsetting that the life I was able to build in a year got destroyed in one night. Thank you for taking the time to read about my situation this is out of my comfort zone but I am trying to tackle all this while being alone and trying to make everything I have stretch until I’m able to get back on my feet.
