Help Daylynn Fight Cancer and Find a Home

Hi everyone, my name is Katrina and I have been working with families since 2015. I help with VA services/benefits, senior placement, community resources, and so on. I have a precious family in need of help!

Meet Daylynn! She is an amazing grandmother to 4 phenomenal grandkids, twin guys, and two beautiful girls. Ms. Daylynn has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. They have lived in the Sulphur/Carlyss area but recently were told they have 30 days to vacate the property after the death of her landlord. We have found her a super cute home in the same area so the girls can continue going to their schools, but need help with the deposits for the house and utilities. We have reached out to several community resources but no luck as of yet. We are willing to exchange house cleaning, yard work, etc., to repay your kindness. Ms. Daylynn works as much as her little body allows in between chemotherapy. She is set to begin radiation immediately following her last chemo infusion, then surgery in November to hopefully remove the tumor successfully.
