This year on Feb 24th, I’m turning 36. All I want for my birthday is for ICE to get the f*ck out of Minnesota.

But while we wait for that to happen, I’m hoping you’ll contribute to this fundraiser. I’m raising money to help the teachers at my daughter’s daycare who have been deeply impacted by the ICE raids. For safety reasons, I won’t name the daycare.

These teachers are incredibly brave. Every day they come to work, put smiles their faces, and take care of the kids - all while they are dealing with the constant fear of being detained by ICE. I can barely take care of my toddler (let alone multiple toddlers) on a good day!

They are legally here and yet they have to live with this pervasive fear. There are nine families with 31 people (many of them kids!!), 6 dogs, and 6 cats.

Any money raised will go towards buying their groceries, purchasing activities and crafts to support mental health, and other things they might need like rent aid.
