Help Dayanne’s family pay for her funeral expenses
Donation protected
UPDATE:
Our princess has gone home, to be in the arms of Jesus Christ as of early this morning. We are devastated and brokenhearted but also relieved that the suffering has ended. She leaves behind two beautiful boys, Ben & Miguel, brother, sister, mother, partner and a very long list of friends. At this time we are asking for financial help for the family for her funeral expenses to make this painful chapter a little less unbearable and stressful. Thank you all for all the love and care you have given her for the last 14 months of this battle.

Dayanne Costa is a 33 year old who has been living in florida for the last 20 years. She is a loving mother of two young boys, Ben, and Miguel, who are seven and three years old.
In March of 2023, after having nonstop bleeding, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She was told that the tumor was large and had grown very rapidly therefore she needed to start treatment as soon as possible. Because of that, they decided that the fastest route would be to go to Brazil, her birth place, to start treatment. After three months of a combination of chemotherapy and radiation, they ran the test again, and the cervical cancer was gone. However, they then found a lesion in her spine, indicating neuroendocrine cancer, another one that had grown incredibly fast. At that point she had to go through another four months of chemotherapy only to find out that the treatment had been unsuccessful and that the cancer had spread to her heart.
In the midst of all this turmoil and due to her immune system being so weak she has gotten bacterial infections, pulmonary embolism and now hypothyroidism.
She is in no condition to travel back to Florida to see her two boys and her family which has been difficult. Her mother could not bare to stay far and she has committed to spending her time in Brazil with her daughter until she is able to go back home. With the help of her sister and her friends in Florida her two boys got to fly to Brazil and spend Christmas and New Years with their mother.
Dayanne has now started a new round of much stronger chemotherapy every 21 days which is taking a toll on her body. Dayanne has been positive, hopeful, and faithful to God throughout this whole experience which has been incredible to watch but now she needs our help more than ever so she can get to the finish line.
Financially, this has been devastating for the family. They are a hard-working, middle-class family who never fathomed going through something like this. At this point they have exhausted any money they had as well as any money that has been donated to them up to this point.
We are hoping that with the help of everyone who can donate they can finish the treatment in Brazil, which means another 2 to 3 chemotherapy treatments, and if all goes well, we can transfer her back to Florida to be with her kids. Therapy doctors told her she will have to commence two years of monthly immunotherapy once this treatment is complete. She has health insurance in Florida, but we don’t know how much of it will actually be covered. If you can donate, no matter how little, it would be appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.
PS the Beneficiary of Donations will be her mother, Rosangela Rocha, who is handling all the financial obligations. Please feel free to make donation via Zelle as well to save the transaction fees (407) [phone redacted].
