My name is Shawna. I started this GoFundMe for my daughter, Dayanna Barie. She was shot by her stepsister on February 1st. Dayanna has been in the hospital since. The bullet went through both lungs and her spinal column and spinal cord. We are raising money for her medical bills, a ramp and for a lawyer. Dayanna just turned 22 on February 7th, and she is a mommy to her gorgeous daughter, Willow, who just turned 4. If you can't donate, it would be greatly appreciated if you would share, repost, and like our posts. We are grateful Dayanna is alive; most people with her injuries don't make it, but she is strong and determined. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Learning to walk again isn't easy. She has in patient intensive therapy for the next 10 days then she will be home. We need help building a ramp for her to be able to get in and out of the house easily. Any and all help is and will be greatly appreciated, thank you all so so much. We have court coming up to as well. Any finances left after the ramp we are going to use to pay the lawyer.
