Help Dayan Save Ursa: Emergency Vet Care Needed

Donation protected
Hello!

My dear friend Dayan, for whom this GoFundMe is for, had to take her service dog into the ER last night for what she thought was a seizure. Dayan has post-concussive disorder, and Ursa alerts her when she is about to faint. Ursa is also a therapy dog who provides emotional support to doctors and medical staff. They kept Ursa overnight and believe she has an autoimmune disorder called hemolytic anemia, which basically means her body is attacking her red blood cells. They think she had a blood clot that went to her brain.

Dayan is on disability and gave the ER every dime she had for Ursa to stay overnight, which was around $3,000. Ursa may need to stay again tonight, and they are going to give her a blood transfusion and start steroids. According to Dayan, they pretty much have to shut down her immune system. The treatment has a 65% chance of either not working or having complications. The doctors wanted to conduct further diagnostics to try to determine why this is progressing so quickly, but Dayan is out of money. She doesn't even know how she will pay for another night at the ER, honestly.

Any amount of money will help towards paying the ER and providing funds to keep trying to save Ursa's life. Dayan also has another dog to take care of and barely gets by as it is. She is an amazing woman with a heart of gold. Ursa is her lifeline, and I truly hope she will make it.

Please send this to whoever so we can raise what we can to help!!
