Help Daxon Fight His Way Back After 10 Years
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Caleb Wallace, and I’m Daxon’s brother-in-law. My wife Ambrielle (Daxon’s sister) and I are running this GoFundMe to help raise the critical funds Daxon needs to reclaim his life after a devastating accident.
On April 28th, Daxon turned 23 years old.
At this age, he should be chasing dreams in the NFL, building a future to have a family, and living life on his own terms.
Instead, he’s fighting a battle that no young man should have to face — the daily battle just to survive, to heal, and to hope again.
After suffering a severe traumatic brain injury from a tragic accident nearly 10 years ago, Daxon’s life changed forever.
His mother, Tara, has stood by his side as his full-time caregiver (with one 2 week break) doing everything in her power to give him a chance at life. But the reality is, love and strength alone aren’t enough to meet the challenges he’s facing now.
We are reaching out because Daxon urgently needs help — help that we can’t provide alone.
We are raising around $105,000 to cover several critical needs. Here is the cost breakdown:
-A customized power wheelchair ( est. $22,000)
So Daxon can sit safely, move independently, and avoid life-threatening injuries like pressure sores etc.
-A wheelchair-accessible van ( est. $60,000)
So he can travel to necessary medical appointments, therapy, and experience the world outside his home with dignity and safety.
-Emergency health insurance coverage ( est. $10,000)
After Daxon’s insurance was suddenly terminated, effective May 1st, he will be left with no coverage for critical treatments unless we secure new private insurance immediately.
-Medical supplies and care giving support ( est. $8,000–10,000)
Covering essential equipment and ongoing costs that insurance won’t touch — like maintenance for his wheelchair, medical-grade cushions, ramps, and other vital needs.
This isn’t about comfort or luxuries as some may call them — this is about survival.
It is about giving Daxon the basic tools he needs to live safely, with dignity, and with a future that still holds hope.
Tara has fought every day to keep her son alive, cared for, and loved.
Now, it’s time for a community to stand behind her — and behind Daxon.
Every donation — no matter the size — helps us take one more step toward giving Daxon the life he deserves.
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page could connect us to someone who can and that alone is amazing.
Thank you for believing in Daxon’s fight. Thank you for being part of his story. We want to remind him that he has an army of people behind him. He wants to be able to live life again, see his buddies, visit cool places and yes, that is on top of basic needs..he deserves and needs the ability to safely do so. He would love to share his life with others, but we have to remind him that people see him still.
We are so grateful for your support, your prayers, and your heart.
With hope and gratitude,
Caleb Wallace
