Help Dawson Represent Kentucky HOSA in Healthcare
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Dawson Webb, and I am a graduating senior at Greenup County High School, with a strong passion for pursuing a career in the future of medicine. Throughout high school, I have taken numerous healthcare and college-level courses, including Phlebotomy, EMT, MNA (Medication Nurse Aide), Principles of Health Science, Medical Terminology, Emergency Procedures, Sociology, Veterinary Medical Science and Anatomy & Physiology. These classes have deepened my commitment to the medical field and prepared me to serve others through healthcare.
In addition to my academics, I proudly serve as the Historian of the Greenup County HOSA Chapter (Health Occupations Students of America), where I actively participate in community service and mentor future healthcare leaders.
This year, I had the honor of competing at the HOSA Northeast Regional Conference, where I represented my chapter in the Phlebotomy competition. I competed against students from seven other chapters and was awarded 1st Place Regional Champion, earning a spot at the Kentucky HOSA State Leadership Conference (SLC) in Louisville this past March.
At the SLC, I competed against the best students from across the state and was humbled to be named the 1st Place State Champion in Phlebotomy. This incredible achievement has opened the door for me to represent not only my school and chapter, but the entire state of Kentucky at the HOSA International Leadership Conference (ILC) this June.
The ILC is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to grow as a healthcare professional, connect with future leaders from around the world, and compete at the highest level. However, in order to attend, I need your support. The cost of travel, lodging, and materials totals $2,000.
I’m reaching out to my community, family, and friends to help me make this dream a reality. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to representing Kentucky on the international stage and continuing my journey in healthcare.
Thank you for your support and belief in me!
With gratitude,
Dawson Webb
