Help Our Mom Fight Stage IV Cancer
Donation protected
In November 2023, after nearly two years of pain, our mother (Dawne) found a large tumor on her spine and was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer of unknown primary (CUP). Her journey began the day before Thanksgiving, and by February 2024, she had undergone major surgery to remove the cancer and fuse five vertebrae. Despite these efforts, a PET scan in March revealed further spread to her adrenal gland and stomach. We were told if she did nothing, she had 6 months to live. If she tried treatment, it could give her 1-2 years. With an uncertain prognosis, she bravely began intensive radiation and chemotherapy in April, enduring severe side effects that left her bald and bedridden by June.
In a heartfelt effort to support our mom, Brittanie and Nicole donated their hair to create a custom wig, hoping to help her feel more like herself. Unfortunately, custom wigs do not come cheap. We humbly ask for donations to cover this and other significant expenses, including an electric recliner, cancer-fighting supplements, travel costs for treatments, and organic food she can tolerate. Any leftover funds will go towards fulfilling her dream of traveling outside the US. Even a small contribution or sharing our story can make a world of difference. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
With gratitude,
Dawne’s Daughters
Stephanie, Brittanie, Nicole, and Dani
