Help Dawn Reclaim Her Independence & Find Relief

The Story:
To those who know her, Dawn is a fighter. For over 15 years, she has been battling a debilitating neurological condition called Arachnoiditis—a result of a medical injury during the birth of our daughter. What was supposed to be a day of celebration turned into a lifetime of chronic, "worse-than-labor" pain, mobility issues, and a constant struggle to perform the daily tasks many of us take for granted.

Despite everything, Dawn has spent years advocating for others with this "silent epidemic." Now, she is the one who needs our help.

Our Current Challenges:
We are reaching out to our community because we have hit a point where we can no longer bridge the gap alone. Our goal is to provide Dawn with three things that will fundamentally change her daily life:

Reliable Transportation & Mobility: Currently, our 2000 Ford Expedition is struggling. We are seeking funds to either complete major repairs and install a hitch-attached wheelchair lift or, ideally, replace it with a more reliable vehicle. Being able to get Dawn to her many appointments safely and with her wheelchair is a necessity we are currently struggling to meet.

Making Our House a Home Again: Dawn loves nature, but her world has become increasingly confined to the indoors. We want to retrofit portions of our home—specifically the back porch and yard—to be fully wheelchair accessible. Our goal is to give her the simple dignity of being able to go outside, enjoy the fresh air, and feel the sun on her face without barriers.

Ongoing Pain Management (Ketamine Infusions): Through years of trial and error, we have found that Ketamine infusions are the only treatment that truly breaks through her intense pain. However, these infusions are expensive, not fully covered by insurance, and only last a few weeks at a time. These funds will go directly toward ensuring she can maintain this vital treatment.

How You Can Help:
We know times are tough for everyone. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing Dawn’s story (DAWNSSTORY ) to help raise awareness for Arachnoiditis.

Your support—whether through a donation, a share, or a prayer—means that Dawn doesn't have to fight this next chapter alone. It means more days where she can focus on being a mother and a wife, rather than just a patient.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and for helping Dawn find a path toward more "good days."
