My name is Dawn Dobberteen. I was just getting started selling my artwork on eBay, BeachDreams@Dawn. My rental was on Clearwater Beach, Florida, where I lived for 5 years and also where I would create my items. Hurricane Helene took all that away. I no longer have my home, and most of my belongings were destroyed and put out to the curb, including my supplies for my art as well as the items I had already created. My rental insurance won't cover me except $250 for food spoilage as it was water damage and not wind.

I am trying to put my life back together. I need to find a new home, replace my belongings, and get back to creating. Creating was something I enjoyed that brought me peace. I am a nurse and was working in the hospital the 36 hours that Hurricane Helene was destroying lives. After my shift, I no longer had a home. Within 48 hours, all my belongings were thrown to the curb and demolition was started on my rental. Any donation would be much appreciated. Thank you, Dawn.
