As many of you know my mom has been dealing with a brain tumor for years now. On Tuesday June 22nd she went to Moffitt Cancer Center and met with a doctor who specializes in Pituitary Macroadenoma. Which means a large benign tumor around the pituitary gland. He was able to show her how the Tumor has been growing ever since her last surgery in 2018 on all of her MRI's. This was very discouraging and scary. It has grown to the point it is damaging her optic nerve and causing her to lose her sight. The doctor strongly recommended immediate surgery. He also has assured her that the new equipment that they use is much more effective than even what was used 3 years ago. She has been scheduled  for surgery the last week of July. This surgery will be more intense than the last one with them having to remove bones from her face in order to get the whole PLUM sized tumor out. She will be in the hospital for at least a week and then 6 weeks of bed rest where she will pretty much have to sit in a recliner the whole time. We are still praying and believing God for a miracle. Medical Expenses - She has a christian Medical Sharing Program called Samaritans Ministries. It will help with some of it but it doesn't cover a lot. Plus it has a deductible. 
Childcare for Nathanael - Many of you know about my amazing little brother with down syndrome. He requires a little extra grace sometimes. This money will go towards hiring someone to watch him during the 6 week recovery and 1 week hospital stay. 
Time off work - My dad will be spending a considerable amount of time home from work. They have lived by faith for more than 20 years. 
Beach Trip - Ok this one is just because I know how much my mom loves the beach and her dream is to buy a house on Anna Maria Island. I can't do that but if she could go for a weekend that would mean a lot for her!

Dawn Is such a prayer warrior. She has been praying and believing for her healing and we aren't done praying!
