Hello, this is Dawn’s mother. Dawn has been feeling unwell for awhile and went in thinking it was a maybe oncoming strep throat. Ten days later she still had a lump and swollen lymph nodes. She was sleeping all of the time. Shortly after she was able to see her primary doctor who scheduled her for some blood work, a CT, and following that she had gotten a biopsy. This confirmed her diagnosis of a rare form of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Dawn does have medical insurance, but unfortunately it’s only going to cover a fraction of the cost of her treatment. As of right now she is to undergo 25 rounds of radiation therapy. Halfway through she will her more scans and see if this is enough to kill her cancer. Unfortunately, I’m a single mother and I don’t have the funds to pay for her treatment either. I know this is a difficult time for everyone right now, but anything is appreciated.
