Last year, Dawn Baby was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and started treatment very soon after. It’s been a year of ups and downs, but she’s been doing her best to stay strong and stay optimistic.

Unfortunately, the cancer is back and Dawn will begin her treatment process again at the end of September. The doctors anticipate 6 months of chemotherapy, and then a masectomy after that.

The generous support our family has received over the last year has allowed Dawn to focus on healing, and not have to worry about the high cost of medical procedures. As she enters another round of costly treatments and surgery, she will need her communities continued support.

If you know our mom, you know she's strong and tenacious and can do anything she puts her mind to, but even the toughest among us sometimes need a helping hand. As a self-employed hairstylist and lifelong multimedia artist, Dawn doesn't have the financial safety net that some people with conventional employment do. She's spent her whole life trying to make the world more beautiful, and your support right now will help her continue to find beauty on this long hard road she faces.
