Help Dawn and Kaden Through This Tough Journey

My name is Sophia. I am wanting to help out my dear friend Dawn and her son Kaden during this hard time. On Aug 2nd, Kaden went in for an MRI because he had been having headaches and feeling dizzy. Two hours later, they received a call saying Kaden had a tumor on the back left side of his brain. The very next night, Kaden was having a 5-hour brain surgery to remove the tumor.

After surgery, the surgeon told them that he had medulloblastoma, which is an aggressive cancerous brain tumor that starts in the lower back part of the brain. This can cause difficulty with keeping your balance and moving the left side of your body, and can also affect your speech. When Kaden woke up after surgery, the first thing he said was 'I want Pizza', and he was smiling up until he got sick from the medication. Then he didn't want to eat for the next 3 days. But he never stopped smiling. Kaden has a long road ahead of him.

This would be Kaden's senior year in high school which is supposed to be the best year of your life, and he is going to be missing out on almost all of it which is so unfair to him.

Dawn is having to take the next 8 weeks off work to travel with Kaden to Tennessee to receive proton therapy radiation. Then they will fly back home for 6 weeks, then will have to return for another 6 to 8 months for chemo. She is not going to be able to work or have any kind of income during this time. She is going to need help with paying her bills and storage, travel, food, and everyday expenses on top of what the insurance doesn't pay for medical. I am wanting to help make Kaden and her life as stress-free as possible. They have enough to worry about besides having to worry about how they are going to pay for something. So I am asking for everyone's help in making their life a bit easier. And I know Dawn would never ask for help because that is just how she is. She tries to do everything on her own, but this time she is not going to be able to do it! Even if you can only donate $5 or $10 dollars, it will all add up.
