I really don't want to ask for help but we need it. Last year I (Dawn) was diagnosed with Colon cancer. It was removed successfully October 13. I finally was able to start chemo in February 2026. I have just recently found out my new insurance does not cover $70 of i . I have 7 more rounds that is $70 each time. I do 2 weeks on and 1 week off. That is $840 I have no idea where is coming from. We are struggling. I am not able to do much of anything due to the chemo making me so sick and I am still recovering. Cancer took a lot out of me and I stay exhausted. Jeremiah had open heart surgery December 15th and then he was supposed to be released January 2nd. But Jeremiah got a horrible infection in his wound. Jeremiah came home on January 21st to only be home 6 days and admitted again. He required yet another surgery. He has now had 2 surgeries since being admitted again. He will again be sent home on a Pic line with now 3 iv antibiotics. Again his insurance doesn't cover it all. It's going to cost us $180 a month for 8 months. Jeremiah will he down awhile. We would not being asking for help if we desperately didn't need it. If you can spare even just $1 it will help and please pray for us. Thank you all.

To update I will have extra expenses due to ct scans with contrast and weekly bloodwork to make sure the cancer hasn't returned. I deeply appreciate every person who shares this, prays for us, and donates. Jeremiah will be home March 17th. I have my first ct scan with contrast since surgery March 19th.

Goal was edited as we had someone anonymous pay $500 directly to Jeremiah's bill. I do not know who it was. Just I got a call and the lady who does the billing said someone called in and asked to pay directly to his account and remain anonymous. There are several people who know that amedysis covers our area and we went through their pharmaceutical company also. Thank God for this blessing. We are closer.
