Help Dawatul Islamia- Somerset build new Mosque

“Whoever helps build a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise”

Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters. Our masjid, Da’awatu Islamia of Somerset, is working on a project to build a new mosque for our growing community and it has been in the works for about 10 years. Our mosque has purchased properties with aspirations of building a bigger masjid to accommodate more people and we are hoping to raise enough money to begin construction. Our current building is small, and we struggle with room to pray. We struggle the most during Jummah, Eid, and the night of Laylatul Qadr. We are over capacity and have received numerous complaints from neighbors about parking and noise violations. The new building will not only serve as a place for us to pray, but also serve as a better equipped Islamic school for the children in our community.
