Help David's Road To Recovery

Dear friends,
PLEASE SHARE & REPOST!
I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share the news that David was hospitalized after breaking his neck resulting in a severe spinal cord injury, broke both legs, shattered his hip, has several other broken bones and is fighting for his life. David De La Rosa is a loving father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His smile and laugh are contagious and he has the BIGGEST heart.
David has begun his recovery in hospital, and whilst he shows some improvement each day, the extent of his injuries and long-term impact remains unclear. David’s spinal cord has been damaged at the C5 level of his cervical vertebrae. At this stage, David has been diagnosed as quadriplegic. While the De La Rosa family remain hopeful that David will regain some movement, it has become clear that David will require long term support and care.
Anyone who knows David can attest to his strong will, passion for life, love for family and his son Josiah (19-months). There is no doubt that David will bring that same determination and commitment to his rehab and recovery. There is no limit to what David can achieve! While it has been a devastating time, the De La Rosa family remain incredibly optimistic and are determined not to let this injury define them.
A special thank you to everyone who has offered their thoughts and support. The De La Rosa family are encouraged by the outpouring of love. They will do their best to keep everyone informed throughout David’s recovery.
There is a mountain ahead for David and our family. All contributions will go directly to covering the costs of the many treatments and services he will need to recover. Your donations will allow him to focus on his health and well-being without having to worry about the financial impact of his diagnosis.
I also need your help in spreading the word about David’s situation. Please share this page with your friends and family on social media, email, or any other platform that you think would help us reach more people. Every share could mean a potential donation that could make a real difference for David. We are also requesting continued prayers and positivity for David. Together, we can make a difference and help support our beloved David through this challenging time.
We cannot say enough how thankful we are and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting David.
With love and gratitude,
The De La Rosa Family
Stay strong, David!
