David and Melena Brady, and their children, recently experienced a devastating tragedy when their home was destroyed by fire. Late at night, a passerby alerted them to the danger, and thankfully, David, Melena, their three children, and one of their dogs made it to safety. One of their dogs is unaccounted for and presumed lost. The house, which David had spent years restoring and turning into a beautiful home for his family, was a complete loss, and they lost the majority of their possessions.

The funds raised will help David and Melena Brady and their family replace essentials like clothing, hygiene items, and personal care products. It will also support them as they navigate the insurance process, find temporary housing, and begin the long journey of rebuilding their lives. This is just an administrative update, for the sake of full transparency. I originally set this fund drive up with their close friend and neighbor handling the funds to transfer to them, as we wanted to get it going as soon as possible, without burdening the Brady's with trying to track down all the information/paperwork needed for verification. We have been working with an agent from gofundme to now have the funds directly sent to David and his family, so they can receive the funds with as few delays as possible.
