Support David's Fight Against Leukemia

Hi, my name is Linda and I am starting this campaign to help David, my brother-in-law, with his medical expenses.

David and my sister, Michelle, met during undergrad at the University of Texas over a decade ago. After some determined courting on David's part, the two have been inseparable love bugs and have been married since 2018. The couple married in a private ceremony without a reception. They had planned for a wedding celebration in 2020, only to have their plans pushed back to September 2021 due to the global pandemic.

A few days ago, David was feeling a bit unwell and went in to see his doctor for what he thought was going to be a sinus infection, only to be instructed to go immediately to the ER for additional testing. Preliminary results from this testing has indicated that he has Acute Myeloid Leukemia and he must stay in the hospital for at least four weeks to undergo chemotherapy treatment.

All this of course is happening less than 10 days before their long awaited wedding celebration, causing them to have to cancel the festivities and lose many of their event deposits.

Needless to say, David has a long road ahead of him and he will need to take a medical leave from work. Anything you can donate to help with his medical expenses would be so very much appreciated.
