Help David Tran Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hello family, friends, and all else in our community and beyond.
David needs your support.
About a month ago, our dear friend David Tran was doing a simple check-in with his primary doctor for odd lumps he found in his neck. This quickly turned into multiple tests and surgery to find out that David was immediately diagnosed with Stage 3: Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It is hard to say when the Cancer had started but this unforeseen journey has led us to confront a reality where David's cancer, detected from his neck, has extended its reach to his spleen.
For those of you who don’t know David; he was born and raised in Massachusetts where he still resides to this day. He is the 3rd eldest and 1st son of a total of seven children in his large household. Despite personally battling cancer now, this isn’t his first encounter with the disease.
In 2013, David and his family lost their Father to his long battle against Liver Cancer. As you can probably imagine - when David broke the news of his diagnosis to his family, they were devastated but ready to help him fight this disease, as they too once did for their father.
David’s day-to-day life before his diagnosis was ALWAYS active.
Outside of work, you could always count on finding him in the gym, playing basketball and football with close friends and family or hanging out with close loved ones doing karaoke & paint nights (where he truly is a Karaoke King!). Alternatively, he might be found exploring the city, trying different cuisines, and partaking in the whatever normal activities of those in their early twenties.
Whether it’s his family or close friends, everyone can agree that he is one of the most selfless people around. Time and time again, whether it’s helping a friend move in/out of an apartment or a quick ride somewhere - David was always the type of person - people can depend on. Even when exhausted, his infectious smile and laughter would always be present.
If you couldn’t tell by now; David has always been an incredibly positive, supportive, and encouraging person - especially to and for those around him. So, we ask that you show and share that same energy and aid us in supporting David on this life-changing journey.
With that being said, David has begun Chemotherapy, this will and already is starting to have a strenuous effect on David’s physical and mental health. In this endeavor, we seek to alleviate the
financial burden that accompanies such a journey for David and his family. Your contributions, no matter the amount, are deeply appreciated.
With unity and empathy,
Team David
