Help David Steward Fight Cancer

In February 2019 we had a death in the family and we flew east for the funeral. The trip and the tragedy affected David adversely causing bronchitis and a heart related issue that led to the need for him to have CT and PET scans. This ultimately revealed a rare carcinoma of the gallbladder and partial liver.
One oncologist said it could not be biopsied or removed with laparoscopic surgery because it would ‘seed’(spread) the carcinoma. The surgeon at Loma Linda, City of Hope, explained it would be major surgery because he would have to remove a large section that would include the gallbladder and the affected part of the liver. He told David “If you were my Father I would not recommend surgery.” The oncologist at Eisenhower said it would mean chemo, surgery and more chemo, with a year of suffering during recovery, a poor quality of life. We were advised that because it is so rare there has not been a high success rate.
Those who know David know that he has always been a believer in and has researched alternative health options, maintaining to this day a youthful spirit and great vitality. Those who know him say he has always looked 20 years younger than his actual age. Already, David has been using many supplements for his immune support but the latest CT scan shows that in 3 months the carcinoma mass has doubled. He has lost 20 lbs, much reduced stamina and bouts with pain.
Time is an important issue.
David is a retired Minister, for 30 years, and has helped countless people change their lives for good. He has always been an Animal Activist helping raise thousands of dollars for Animal Samaritans and supported Lindi Biggi who then founded Loving All Animals. His column in the Desert Daily Guide, named after his famous poodle, “Ask Gracie” was loved by many.
What we are asking:
Knowing surgery is not an option, but along with laser radiation, we have identified local alternative technologies that are available, but not covered by Medicare or any insurance. The number of treatments and the unknown length of time needed for them will be costly. David lives on Social Security and small Veteran’s Benefit. Together we are unable to afford the many possible lifesaving alternative treatments. A conservative amount may exceed $50,000.
The Loma Linda surgeon suggested he may have a year or more to live. That was 6 months ago. David believes he can overcome this and so do I. We would be most grateful if you would open your hearts to contribute to this Fund to Help David Heal this Cancer.
