Meet David — a 39-year-old community volunteer, scholar, and true inspiration. After facing a major life challenge in 2024—a sudden job loss—David made the decision that would change his life: he chose to start attending college after obtaining his high school diploma 20 years prior.
Despite living with Autism, David found the strength and courage to pursue higher education with a laser focus. When David began at Dallas College, he didn’t just adapt — he soared, turning every challenge into a standing ovation moment!

Now, David is about to take his next big step: he’s been accepted into The University of Texas at Arlington this fall!
But here’s the challenge: To keep this momentum going, David needs help covering his moving and housing cost for one month. His goal is to raise $2,000 before August 5, 2025 — and every single dollar will go directly toward securing housing and moving expenses so he's ready and stable for the upcoming semester.
Why David Deserves Your Support:
David isn’t just a student—he’s a fighter with a heart of gold. He volunteers his time selflessly throughout the Dallas community, offering support, inspiration, and friendship to those around him.
He’s the type of person who lifts others up, even when life is heavy for him. He’s resilient, passionate, kind—and he’s proving that it’s never too late to chase your dreams, no matter the odds.
David says, "After I lost my job, I could have given up. But instead, I decided to bet on myself—and go back to school."
How You Can Help:
By donating, you’re not just helping David pay for school — you’re investing in a future mentor and community leader. You're making sure that this determined, hard-working, and incredibly deserving man doesn’t have to choose between housing and his future.
