I'm reaching out with humility and gratitude to ask for your support during a challenging time in my life. Over the past decade, I've battled the manifestation of a Craniopharyngioma brain tumor that I was born with, which has required three brain surgeries, including a craniotomy, numerous emergency room visits, six weeks of radiation, physical therapy, and a decade of rest, suffering, healing, and times more difficult than I ever imagined I would have to live through. I currently live with a rare disorder called panhypopituitarism due to the destruction of my pituitary gland. This is a very complicated disorder which requires me to take multiple steroids throughout the day to stay alive. I have more symptoms than I can list here because of this condition.

Despite the toll this journey has taken on my body and spirit, I remain determined to rebuild my life. However, the financial burden of medical expenses, lost income, and isolation has been overwhelming.

In the last 10 years, I have had to learn to walk three times. In 2015, I lost my peripheral vision, and in 2018, I became legally blind/low vision. I am no longer able to drive a car or read a book. Because of this, along with my other symptoms, I am not able to work a regular job and therefore live on disability. I am currently living in poverty and isolation in the mountains of Northern California. I am currently in danger of losing my home because I cannot afford to pay my insurance, which is required where I live. My home is also in desperate need of repair for health and safety reasons.

This is why I am asking you for your help. In the last 10 years, I have never asked anyone for money, and this is my first GoFundMe. After my craniotomy in 2015, I became homeless and had no money. I didn't ask anyone for help, but I can't do this again! I cannot lose my home; I need your support. Your contribution will help alleviate the financial weight, which is causing me terrible anxiety because I have few opportunities to make money in my situation, and I am afraid I will not be able to survive if I lose my home. Your generous donation will empower me to focus on healing, recovery, and renewal.
