Hi all!

David Rose, our exceptionally good boy, needs surgery to remove a large tumor (8x5x3.5cm) on his liver.

David is a beloved member of our family, but we're not in a position to cover the entire cost of his surgery, which is why we are reaching out to the GoFundMe community. The surgery can range from $9,385.75 to $14,036.29, and unfortunately, our vet requires $14,036.29 up front, even if the surgery ends up costing less.

Any amount that you can spare will be used for David's care. If we're fortunate enough to raise more than the surgery costs, extra funds will be used for follow-up appointments and aftercare.

In the event that we don't raise enough for his surgery, anything raised will go to making David as comfortable as possible during these next few difficult months.

Your eyes squint with delight

as your black fur swallows the sun.

Your chest vibrates

excitedly against mine.
