Hi Everyone,

This fundraiser is on behalf of the Cazzarro Family. The family needs assistance with medical relief, allowing David to be flown home to be with his family and embrace the proper care. It is no easy task to ask for help during such a difficult and unexpected time. With sudden grief and heartache, medical expenses pile up fast. That being said, to fly David home to be with his loved ones will be close to $20,000. If you can open your hearts to donate anything reasonable during this time, the family will be forever grateful.

I was debating coming on here but…

If everyone could offer my dad a prayer or two, that would be greatly appreciated.

Today, my dad was in a very serious car crash that has resulted in him becoming a paraplegic.

He has an "Asia A" spinal cord injury, which is the worst you could have. For those who do not know what that means, an Asia A spinal cord injury is a complete spinal cord injury, meaning there is no sensory or motor function preserved below the level of the injury, including in the sacral segments (S4-S5) - essentially signifying a total loss of function.

He has a broken neck in all of his C-spine as well.

If he is able to push through this, he will have a long road ahead of him, meaning months in the hospital and months in rehab. He will forever require round-the-clock care. So ultimately, he will be in a facility.

My wish is for him to be med-flighted to R.I., but right now he is not stable, and they are unable to do so. With that being said, insurance will also not cover the cost to med-flight him across the state. If anyone has any further info on finding a way to be med-flighted here, please reach out!

I will update everyone frequently on here as I know he has many friends who deeply care about him.

In the event my dad passes, all monies raised will be used towards burial and services. If he makes it, he requires 24-hour care in long-term facilities. In the event my dad passes, his wish is to be buried with both his brothers and father, but in order to do that, the fees for his body will be required.
