My name is David, and I’m reaching out for support as I navigate some big changes in my life. Recently, I lost a close friend, and it’s been a challenging time emotionally. On top of that, I live with COPD, which makes it harder and harder to get around on my own. Riding a regular bike just isn’t possible for me anymore, and I find myself feeling more isolated as a result.

That’s why I’m hoping to raise funds for an electric bicycle. Having one would open up my world again—I could get out of my apartment every day, visit the beach like I used to, and even go to the library to research a book I’m thinking of writing. Main Street is blocked off and too far for me to reach on a regular bike, but with an electric bicycle, I could meet friends at local restaurants and enjoy the simple pleasures of being out in my community again.
