Hi, my name is David. I was recently diagnosed with what the doctors called “Calciphylaxis”, which is where the small blood vessels in the extremities begin to harden, causing blood flow to stop flowing to those areas and the tissue dies.

As you can see from some of the pictures, I lost 3 fingers on my right hand and 1 and 2 partial fingers on the left. I also had to have my leg amputated below the knee for the same reason.
