For more than three decades, I’ve worked in film and media as a director, cinematographer, and producer—building projects, leading crews, and telling stories professionally. When the pandemic disrupted the production industry, long-term contracts slowed dramatically. At the same time, I was caring for my 83-year-old mother, who lived with me during her final years. She passed away in 2023. That period required significant emotional and financial focus during one of the most unstable seasons our industry has experienced.

To remain responsible and current on my obligations, I transitioned into gig-based delivery work while continuing to pursue production opportunities. It wasn’t my long-term plan, but it allowed me to maintain stability while rebuilding momentum in my field. Recently, that bridge ended abruptly. My gig accounts were deactivated, and my unemployment claim was denied because those platforms do not contribute to traditional unemployment insurance. Within weeks, steady income became uncertainty. At the same time, my SUV suffered a major engine failure and is now inoperable. Losing reliable transportation eliminated both income opportunities and mobility at a critical moment.

I am now facing eviction with no vehicle and no current income, despite actively applying for positions and pursuing every available path to regain stability. I am seeking support to create a short-term bridge covering:

- Rent and housing stabilization
- Relocation and moving costs
- Utilities and phone service
- Food and essential living expenses
- Transportation repair or replacement
- Legal fees related to my housing situation
