Help David Preston's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
On September 18th, 2020, David was diagnosed with a rare form of salivary gland cancer, Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. Prior to the diagnosis, David had a tumor the size of a large gumball on the right side of his nasal cavity that formed a hole on the roof of his mouth. A biopsy of the tumor indicated the diagnosis.

David met with cancer specialists at the University of Iowa Hospitals for surgery consultations and treatment options. It was ultimately determined that David must have facial surgery to remove the tumor. At the recommendations of David's team of doctors, they scheduled the 10 hour long surgery for November 10th, 2020. This surgery would consist of removing 4 teeth from David's upper right jaw, removal of his upper right palate, transplanting an artery and flap from his right forearm onto the roof of his mouth, and finally a skin graft from his leg to his arm. David is underway on his recommended treatment plan that includes 33 treatments of external beam radiation therapy at the University Hospital in Iowa City.

David and his family are in need of our help. Our goal is to ease the financial burden of hefty medical bills and living expenses during treatment so he can rest and focus on recovery. Please lift David up in your prayers and thank in advance for any and all donations you can send to help him make a speedy recovery.
