Help David Ortiz Attend Brown's Pre-College Program

Hello Friends,

Please join me in helping David Ortiz attend the pre-college program at Brown this summer! David wants to study in the history department.

"Why did you apply to this if you knew you couldn't afford to go?" I asked him.

"Oh, I don't know, I just do things impulsively sometimes," he replied.

"Well, let's figure it out."

It turns out David also got himself into a program at Duke (which he wont be attending), AND he was accepted to a travel program to Puerto Rico for 11 days this summer (which he will be doing). David is signing up for AP classes in the fall to prepare the strongest college application he can.

Let's get this kid to Brown! I am so incredibly proud of him. I have known David since he was in my 4/5 classroom at the Center School (big shout out to the Detectives and the TMI!) and he has been working for me on-and-off at my shop for the past 4 years. This spring I put him on the payroll and gave him regular hours. David is still the sweetest, funniest guy to hang with, and he does a great job. He deserves to be able to take advantage of this opportunity he opened up for himself.

Can you join me in helping him? It takes a village and we've got a really good one here. Let's get David to Brown together! Your contribution will go towards his course fee and room and board.
