My name is Kelli Brickey. If you are reading this, then you are friends with this incredible human being, David Oltmanns. David is going to be having open-heart surgery on Oct 9th to repair his mitral valve.

As many of you know, David is an amazing, kind hearted and giving individual! I have had the pleasure of becoming very close over the past 5 years with him. David is the type of friend that would give anyone the shirt off his back.

We all want David to be able to focus on his recovery and not how he is going to make ends meet. He will be off of work 8-10 weeks, which could be longer depending on how he is recovering. David will be able to use short-term disability, but it’s more than likely only 60% of his income.

Any size donation would truly help to lighten David’s load and allow him to focus on his recovery and the regaining of his strength.

I will keep everyone updated on David’s progress. I have been in contact with Davids Brother (Steven) and he will keep me updated on the day of David’s surgery. I ask that you keep David and his family in your prayers. Send good vibes and positive thoughts for our beloved friend.

For the first few weeks after the surgery David will be recovering at his parents house. If you would like to send any cards or letters of encouragement, you can mail them to my address and I will make sure he gets them.
