Help David Nyikes Heal After Motorcycle Accident

Hi everyone, my name is Brittany Nyikes. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my father, David Nyikes, who was in a life-changing motorcycle accident on 07/28/2024. He is currently in the hospital and will be bedridden for 6-10 weeks (at least). He fractured his tibia in both legs, had to get stitches on his face, and is swollen and in a lot of pain from this incident.

My dad is the sweetest, most genuine man you will ever meet and will give you the shirt off his back whether he knows you or not. He is a social butterfly and loves to be out and about, so this is going to be a huge challenge for him. But we are absolutely beyond grateful to God that he saved his life

I am creating this page because during this long recovery process, he will be accruing a lot of medical expenses between the hospital, physical therapy, and all the services he will need going forward. Anything helps, even a share. We appreciate anything and are grateful. Thank you guys so much ❤️‍

*** UPDATE as of 08/05 ***

Dad is still in the hospital but is making some progress he has been able to get some range of motion in his right arm. Still can’t lift above the head but able to put a little more pressure on his arm to help scoot himself. Swelling in legs has significantly decreased. He is learning how to transfer to and from the bed to the wheel chair. Stitches in face are healing up. We are waiting for insurance to approve his stay at a rehabilitation center where he will be able to start making even more progress. Thank you guys for all your support. Please keep sharing!
