As many of you know, David Naylor, a local farmer was injured on Saturday night, July 10,2021. while doing hay. He had multiple injuries and was transferred from Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY to Albany Medical, Albany, NY where he underwent numerous tests and 2 surgeries and is improving. He sustained a broken back in 2 places; cracked ribs on both sides; a dislocated shoulder and dislocated knee; a tear was found in his aorta that needed a stint ; blood in lungs . Good news was received today as he will be moving to SunnyView in Schenectady, NY to begin rehab so he can eventually return to do what he loves and that is his farm, his cows and Jake, his dog. He is depending on others to keep his farm going and his dog happy until he can do things himself and all will continue to do so until he can once again ride his tractor, going here and there and loving nature. We are asking for help to keep his farm going until he can work again. No one knows how long that will be yet but he is working as hard as he can to get back home. Income will be tight and as everyone knows, the bills just keep coming. We would appreciate any financial support that you might be able give. David has always been there to help others out when he was needed and would drop his own work to help them. We will keep everyone updated on his recovery.
