4 weeks ago, my husband, David Miller, injured his neck while dancing. He went to 2 different ER's. At the first one, they did an x-ray, told him he had a degenerative spine between his c6-c7, gave him a Tylenol, and sent him home.

He was in a lot of pain, so i took him to a different ER, they did a full work up on him, bloodwork, ct scan, then ordered an MRI. With these results, we found that he not only had the pinched nerve in his neck, but there were 4 nodules found on his Thyroid.

One of the nodules was 15mm in size. We would not have found these if he had not injured his neck :(

We were able to get him a Steroid shot in his leg, to help his neck. 80 % pain free.

Then on May 12, he had an ultrasound done on his Thyroid, saw the nodules, recommended biopsies on them.

May 27th, they did an epidural steroid shot for his neck - all pain was gone.

June 2nd, the biopsy was performed.

June 6th - Dr calls, Tells us that David has Thyroid Cancer

Surgery is Wed, June 25th, removing entire Thyroid.

They will do a pathology test on it to determine what stage it is and how much radiation he will have to take afterwards.

David will be off of work for 3-4 weeks, more for the radiation, if needed. I will be off work until July 9th.

Because we are both self-employed, we have 0 funds coming in for 3-4 weeks :(

I've had a few people reach out, asking how they could help, .Anything helps, but most importantly, we need prayers for the surgery and aftercare.
