On 4/5/25 my Mom(Louise Boutaugh) experienced two severe strokes. They found a big blood clot on the right side of her brain which has caused her to lose motor function, ability to move on her right side, and hasnt woken up. She was transferred to Maine Medical in Portland, while we make a decision on the best care for Mom. For those who knew Mom either met her as a Therapist Teacher at Downeast Therapy Association providing care, guidance to many children with Developmental Disabilities, Brownie Girl Scout Troop Leader, her and Dad help provide Foster care to multiple children in need of a home through the State of Maine, she was a cook at Kidspeace, a Manager at Shaws, and a Grandmother to many. Mom inspired the world around her and always put others first.

If your kid was ever crying while walking by the Deli they probably got a free piece of cheese or meat from Mom.
