Hello, my name is David. I lost my job of 8 years in July, due to a company buyout. I am wheelchair-bound and was working remotely. I have been actively searching for a similar position with no luck, and getting disability assistance has been difficult in our current political environment.

I have recently exhausted my savings paying rent and prescription bills and am currently 2 months behind. My landlord has been very understanding since I have been actively trying to find new work, but we are coming into the new year. I have sold anything I had that was worth anything to get by. I am not looking for help with much, just enough to save the roof over my head and pay my phone bill so I can continue to look for work.
