For six weeks, David Madera endured a severe and persistent headache that would not go away. Day after day, the pain continued to worsen until he eventually succumbed to the unbearable pain and collapsed unconscious requiring emergency medical care.
After being evaluated in Moses Lake, doctors determined that David needed urgent, life-saving brain surgery. He was airlifted to Spokane, where neurosurgeons performed a critical operation to remove a brain tumor and a portion of his skull. During this time, he also experienced a significant brain bleed. Thankfully, the surgery was successful. The tumor was removed in its entirety, and doctors have found no signs of any additional tumors.
While this news is incredibly encouraging, David’s recovery journey is just beginning. He is currently in rehabilitation, working hard each day to regain his mobility and speech. Although the bleeding in his brain has improved, doctors are still working to ensure it remains controlled. Because of this, he has been unable to return to work, and the medical bills and everyday expenses continues to grow.
We are raising funds to help support David and the Madera family as they navigate these unexpected medical costs and the challenges that comes with recovery. Any contribution will help ease the financial burden so David can focus fully on healing.
Please keep David and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for your generosity, support, and kindness as the Madera family moves forward and navigates this unexpected time.
