Every now and then in life, you meet someone who is genuine, authentic, fun, quick to laugh, and a master bread maker. For all of us, that is David Guse.

As you know, David has shared the news that he's been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. While serious, David feels ready for the challenges that lie ahead. He is in great physical shape (always has been, he would remind you), surrounded by a wonderfully loving family, and has a great attitude.

A diagnosis like this impacts his entire family. Katy, Leah, and Paige are also in our thoughts, as well as his extended family. But David and his family aren’t facing this alone; his vast network of lifelong friends, his work family and the broader industry community are standing shoulder to shoulder with him.

As friends of David, what can we do to help? Besides treating him the exact same way we always have (his request), we can help support him and his family financially so they can proactively manage the expected medical expenses. Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and show David just how many people are cheering him on.
